Kaizen: The kaizen philosophy is the practice of continuous improvement based on certain guiding principles as:

  • Good processes bring good results
  • Go see for yourself to grasp the current situation
  • Speak with data, manage by facts
  • Take action to contain and correct root causes of problems
  • Work as a team
  • Kaizen is everybody’s business

Monozukuri: The « Monozukuri » spirit  is the art of refined craftmanship an superior quality

Genchi Genbutsu:  The “Genchi Genbutsu” principle means “go and see”. It suggests that in order to truly understand a situation and take the appropriate decisions to solve the problem, one needs to go to the ‘real place’ – where the problem is.

The « 5 S »: The list describes how to organize a work space for efficiency and effectiveness by identifying and storing the items used, maintaining the area and items, and sustaining the new order.
